Gemma Comber, also known as GbytheSea, is an artist living and working in Ramsgate, UK. Her work drifts between beautiful florals, refreshing coastal scenes & tropical escapism, each painting, a moment of stillness & story. With her signature @ woven into titles, Gemma drops a poetic pin - a hint of place, memory or dream, waiting to be explored.

Gemma holds a fine art degree from the University of Creative Arts (UCA) & is also a qualified teacher, having taught art for a number of years. She now works full time from her garden studio by the sea, on the south east coast of England.
